This is for a boy who's due in the Spring, so I'm thinking for summer. Size 50 or 60?

They also have a girl who's not quite two and I'm a sucker for matching siblings. What do you think? Do these hats go well?

The socks don't come in the girl's size though...Do I do these or just no socks since it's for summer and she'd likely be in sandals.

Thanks ladies. Yes, I'm really this indecisive.

Great ideas, I got the roomy romper in island blue/pear for DS for the summer so I really like it although he hasn't had the chance to wear it yet. As for the girl, there is also a choice of the Striped Slipover Sundress if you like that it's also the same type of stripe and has the same pink colors. And I don't think she needs the socks.

As I mentioned, I got Island blue/pear for DS and I also got the Paper Flowers Scooter skirt in blue and Applique pima cotton tank in pear and it turns out the girl's outfit really coordinates with the Island blue/pear romper so that is another idea for you.

Hanna started a long john markdown today so another idea is to get matching zipper with long john for baby & big sister. My DD loves to match her little brother's pajamas.

But what you picked is great so just go for it if you like it.

The dress runs HUGE. Did you find the romper to run big as well, or no? I have the polo for my son and wanted to get the matching dress for Dd, but the 80 was enormous, really and I dress my kids in loose clothing but it looked silly on her.

I don't have the striped dress but I did see a picture in a really old post on this site with a little girl wearing it and it did look huge on her. I do have the romper and I think it looks kind of big (not overly so) but I must say that I have not even tried it on DS yet since it is really summery. I will try to get a better look at it and try it on him tonight if he is cooperative and post.

Cute! I don't think socks are necessary.

What size was her other baby? At 6 months Amy just now fits really well in 60 and can still wear a 50. She is average length. I'd probably go with a 50.

Pretty average.

This morning I tried on the 80 roomy romper on my DS who is almost 1 yrs. old, 30 inches tall and about 22 lbs. He's been measuring on the long & lean side. It is quite "roomy", kind of long too but should be OK on him in a few months and after washing. In short, I think this roomy romper runs kind of big so I would also recommend the size 50 for a small/medium young baby.

ALso, if the girl is average/small, you might want to go with the 80 for her and not size up.

Thanks! Your son sounds about the size of my 19 mo. If only I'd thought ahead to try the romper on her but I didn't. The little girl is almost two but also long and lean so I'm going to go with the 80 and the 50 for the baby; with the hats.

I just LOVE those cutesy hats. I can't bring myself to buy the butterfly for Dd for some reason, I guess the cartoonish butterfly isn't us, but I'm excited to have a reason to get it for someone!
