I was hoping you ladies could help me out. I'm due with DS #2 at the end of this month and I'm having a really hard time finding a coming home from the hospital outfit. I want something that's unique, that other kids won't have. But not something too delicate that I won't feel comfortable having him wear it as one of his summer outfits. The problem that I'm having is that most of the things I'm finding that I really like start at size 3-6 months, not 0-3 months. Any ideas ladies? TIA!

Sofia Bean sofiabean.com has 0-3 cotton onesies (long- and short-sleeved) and soft pants to match. Their hats are great for newborns. The 0-3 is more like a 3 month size, so if your baby is about 7 pounds, the outfit will be a little big. If your baby is 8-9 pounds or more, it will fit well. My son was 7,11 and I had him in the 0-3 month size that first week, but it was a little big. They also have sibling t-shirts.

I like Zutano's newborn styles (called Itzy Bitzy, I think)--they're nice and soft. Also, and I know these aren't as unique, but Gymboree and babyGap's clothing that was in the up to 7 lbs. size fit my 7lb3oz son perfectly for about 3-4 weeks after he was born.

Ooh, I love that dragontailbaby stuff! But I don't see how to order? Am I missing something?

Here's another Zutano-lover. Great patterns, mix-and-match combos, and definitely not-just-for-pictures.
