Hello,

I have a onesie that I had loved on my son, but of course it is already too small. The thing is that there is a couple of bleach spots on it.

So, I would like to somehow convert it into something that I can put in his baby book / photo album / memory box, but I don't want the whole onesie. It has an embroidered dinosaur on it and it has colorful stripe material.

Any ideas on what can be done (and possible where if it is not something that I can do myself)?

TIA!

I'm not handy with a sewing machine yet, but I plan to try. I am either going to buy or make something like this with my favorite clothes of DS's:

Wow, those are lovely, thank you. Too bad that I just got rid quite a few of DS's baby clothes this past week-end. :-(

Hm, I need to wait to get 16 clothes...

Any other ideas?

They say they can use any fabric pretty much, so blankets, hats, mittens, socks ..... anything would work.
Thanks for posting this link - that looks great. I've been looking for something similar for so long.
I was planning on taking a quilting class just so I could make something like this but classes alone run upward of $100.
Have anyone bought from them? Sounds like a WAHM site but not sure.

If you want to put it in a scrapbook, you could buy a bit of card stock and some spray adhesive at the craft store, center the dinosaur on the card, then use a frame or mat to cover the edges. Then glue it into your scrapbook.

I love, love the quilt too. Super sweet idea!

Yes, you are right, it doesn't have to be baby clothes. There were some clothes that I had given away because they had those yellow spots, and I wished I had kept some of them for this... o well...

It is a neat idea though.

Thanks for the idea of the scrap book, I'll consider that, too. Using a frame or mat to cover the edge is perfect!
