This will be my first Summer buying swimwear for a baby girl :) And I am cluless as to what to get!

Is a one-piece the best? Is it difficult to hide a swim diaper underneath without it sticking out all over? Is it hard to peel off wet one-piece to do a diaper change?

But if I go with a two-piece, I personally hate the idea of an itsy-bisty-string bikini top on my baby girl. Does the top ride-up alot if I were to find a tankini/tank top style? Which, by the way, I have been unable to find.

What about water shoes for a new walker? (Hannah isn't walking yet, but I think by next month she will be). She has little feet, and everything I've seen in stores is in larger sizes.

Advice please!

I bought this for DD: http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_3/601-6410651-0764109?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B000HKN3JS. I got it at a Target store a couple months ago. I haven't seen it there lately, but it's online. I have not tried it out yet, but I really like the idea of her being covered up!

If you're going to be swimming, a one piece is better. It gave me more traction in holding on to her slippery body. The tankinis rode up on her belly.

And I noticed that iplay is making some fake crocs that are teeny tiny.

I prefer two-piece bathingsuit b/c they are better if you need to do a diaper change. Kate Mack has these very cute tankinis that look like a one piece on. They are sort of pricey, but you can often find them on ebay. Here's one: http://tinyurl.com/2xnuw5.
