Yes, I'm already looking for holiday clothes! Here's what I was thinking...

I want to get this outfit for DS to wear for holiday pics

and I was thinking of a matching red sweater for me and a white/cream sweater for DH (he refuses to wear red...don't ask), with jeans or khakis (probably khakis). I think it's cute, but not too formal (we're not really formal people).

But then I was looking at the top and thinking maybe it's a bit too "Cat in the Hat". But I really do like it...I just don't know. Maybe I should order it and see and then return it if I don't like it when it gets here.

I know I have a while to decide...just wondering what y'all think?

I think it's very cute! I didn't think of CITH at all until you mentioned it, and it will be even less obvious once the overalls cover much of the shirt. It's holiday-ish but not over-the-top, which I like, and I find most holiday clothes are too formal (at least as far as my lifestyle goes). And, you can use it after Christmas, which is a huge plus in my book, esp. at Hanna prices!

I love it - go for it!

LOL - you just convinced me! :-)

Thanks for the input. I'm going to go ahead and order it now, so I have a while to find matching sweaters for me and DH.

I think it's cute, but overalls tend to creep up on little guys when they sit so you may end up with them up to his chin in a photo. I found I had to be diligent about giving them a last tug down before the photo - which sometimes isn't an option depending upon how things go.
