Holiday Clothes that Don't Scream "Christmas"

I am searching for somewhat dressy clothes for my sons (aged 3 and 1). We're planning on getting professional photos done soon, and will most likely use the pictures on our holiday cards.

The problem is most of the dressy clothes available right now are very Christmas-y. Lots of reds and greens and tartans. However, we are Jewish.

The only problem is that when we did professional portraits earlier this year, the boys wore the light blue argyle vests from Gymboree's "Easter" collection.

The other issue is that we do live in North Florida, so I don't really need anything too wintery.

If you like vests, Lands End has this one that comes in shades of grey or shades of blue. Goes down to 2T - I don't know if that would dwarf your 1 y.o. or not.

All these are wool, so maybe too wintery for you? You could probably just use them as outerwear!

Something cabled like this zip-up cardigan always looks super classic, I think, and would look cute in pictures. I like the tidal blue color. Comes in baby and toddler sizes:

MY husband made me promise I wouldn't put my boys in sweater vests. We live in so Cal so we don't do really wintery clothes either.

what about simple striped long sleeved shirts and khaki or navy pant. Childrens Place has a ton on sale right now.

I saw a wonderful christmas card one year at my peds office. It wasn't wintery or geared towards any holiday (ie red/green, plaid). The children were all in simple plain roll neck sweaters ... one brown, one a muted green, one in a slate blue. It was so refreshing next to all the other "holiday" cards! I think they all had khakis on.

sweaters were like these.... I'm sure simple crew neck sweaters would look nice too!
