A cable knit outfit in ivory, 100% cotton ideally. Lands' End has separates of this outfit that I want but I would prefer a one piece outfit. A bonus would be if it had feet!

Gap has something similar but not in ivory. I don't really want to spend more than $45.

Still searching for that coming home outfit. :) I bookmarked all the ones suggested last weeks (thanks!) and a few are still contenders. But, I had a dream last night where baby was wearing this outfit and now that's all I can think of!

Thanks for any help! I just don't know many kids' stores.

I bought one at Neiman Marcus 3 yrs ago as dd's homecoming outfit (one piece, cable-knit, ivory, I think it had buttons all the way down). It did not have feet. It cost something like $55. DH nixed it, he said it was much too serious, so I returned it. I don't remember if it was an NM brand (is there such a thing?) or some other brand. The quality was superb, one of those things that could easily last through 10 newborns and lots of washings, but it wasn't the softest thing around, KWIM?

GAP did have one about a year ago or so. You could check ebay.

Haven't seen anything else, though. Sorry.

Here's one at Macy's

Here's Gap. I would suggest the 0-7 size even if you expect a bigger baby.

A few Gap ones on ebay.

Ralph Lauren has some beautiful ones. A little more spendy though (this one is $65). http://tinyurl.com/2scwwn

Have you seen the Gap one in person yet? They have had that one piece pretty consistently the last few years, changing just minor details, and it always seems to be some variation of cream rather than white. I haven't looked at this one recently though, so not sure. We used that for DD's coming home outfit and loved it - plan to use it for future DC as well. We had the up to 7 lbs size and it was great - DD was 8lb2oz and it had plenty of room. She gained her birthweight back in less than a week and kept on growing but that outfit fit her for probably a full month after she was born. Good luck finding something you love!
