Why are boys clothes so stiff for the holidays? Anyone seen something that looks nice but is super comfy for holiday pictures and events? I checked out Gap, gymboree and Childrens place and haven't seen anything that isn't stiff corduroy or wool.

Have you checked Hanna Andersson? They've got a ton of cute, soft, cozy clothes that are adorable. I'm having a horrible time deciding what DS will wear for the holidays, because they have too many things I want!

I second this. Even things that look like they could be stiff or scratchy (corduroy overalls, for example), will be very soft and comfy. I plan to get some red corduroy overalls for our baby, who will be 3 months old at Christmas.

Old Navy and Gap may come out with more casual stuff before the holidays... like a little LS t-shirt and striped pants with a holiday theme. I seem to always see these closer to Christmas.

Talbots kids clothes are usually pretty soft. I like this one:

I also recommend HA for comfier dressy clothes for baby boys. I think this is one of their strengths -- baby clothes that are appropriate for babies. The cords for babies or overalls are incredibly soft and have comfy waists; the sweater sets or one-pieces are adorable, too.

Unfortunately, I don't like their stuff for older boys (a bit unimaginative), so seize the opportunity!

I would check out Talbots and also department stores. DS was 4.5 months his first Christmas and had cute plaid velour overalls from Macy's.

I love TK overalls. I think these with the train would be adorable. http://www1.talbots.com/talbotsonline/product/itempage.aspx?item=I190789&PFID=535&BID=S200704617295204A8F4E4D0934C54B277F8&h=K&sk=K

on a whim at Target I picked up a cute and cozy Genuine Kids sweater. It was red with the snowflake pattern on the chest with grey trim at the sleeves and neck and it was a zippered sweater. I had previously picked up a Carters brand corduroy pant at Kohls and they are really soft. I hadn't meant for the cords to be holiday pants but they match the sweater and they are really soft so that'll probably be his Christmas outfit.

Ditto on previous suggestions. We're doing a Zackali overalls set. It's dressy & comfy.

The overalls you posted are adorable! I am not familiar with that brand. Where do you find Zackali? I'm sure your DS will be so cute in it.

Besides online, I'm not sure. I got our set from ebay for $39.99 in June, so it was a really good deal.
