DS's Scuba Diver halloween costume - tights or sweat pants?

DS (4) wants to be a Scuba Diver for halloween and I haven't been impressed by the costumes to buy so I'm going to make my own. Shouldn't be too hard but I don't know if I should use black tights (would look more realistic) or black sweats (could be worn again. Although, I guess black tights could be worn in a few years by DD...)

What do you think?

Also, where can I find a black turtleneck for DS??

what about going middle of the road and getting leggings? I'd worry about the tights being see-through. Black leggings would be realistic but more substantial. I think Target and Walmart typically have black leggings? Ditto for turtlenecks.

That is a great idea! I'll head out to Target/Walmart tomorrow and keep my fingers crossed.
