Anyone Heard of Maternamates?

A woman I met briefly in a local Babys R Us mentioned Maternamates. They are nipple shields used for relief of sore, cracked nipples. She said they were a godsend. She said the company that distributed them was called Kendall, I tried their internet site but it is under construction. Any info?

Hi Lisa,

My Lactation Consultant gave me a pack of MaterniMates in the hospital. They are a Hydrogel dressing (also used for burns and the like) about the size of a breast pad (3 inches in diameter) that is shaped to fit on your breast. They are heavenly during the early days of breastfeeding.
