Favorite Spoons?

I about to start my daughter on solids (haven't decided whether to go with rice or something else based on what I've read on this list) and I was wondering what spoons to buy?

Anyone have a favorite?

I like the Sassy or Gerber temperature-sensitive ones. Get LOTS! We go through zillions of spoons. FWIW, rice can be really constipating for babies, so keep an eye out. Other options are banana, avocado, etc.

I agree with Rachel. Get lots of spoons! My favorite are Sassy's soft tip spoons. The first batch I bought melted in the dishwasher, but I washed the rest on the top shelf and they've done fine. Also, when I talked to Sassy about their sending me replacements for my melted ones, they said that they've reformulated the plastic so it shouldn't melt in the dishwasher anymore.

I have both the Gerber and Sassy soft-tipped spoons. I noticed that the Gerber spoons are smaller and fit in DS's mouth better as we're starting out.
