Anyone else have a baby on soy formula?

William is using Isomil Soy and it doesn't come iron fortified and I was wondering what your ped suggested as an iron supplement. Our ped suggested we start jarred chicken at about 4 months because a baby is born with enough iron until then.

I thought it did have Iron....humm thats strange im going to take a look at the cans tommorow and see...Weird...

Well so it does! What is my dr. talking about then? I assumed that because it didn't say iron fortified on the front of the can that maybe it had less than other brands and that's why the dr. suggested a small amount of chicken as a supplement. I'll have to give him a call.
