I will soon need to get rid of a bunch of maternity clothes. I would give them to Goodwill but I know from experience that they don't separate out maternity or plus sizes so it is very exhausting to find them. I'd like to give to an organization in the Boston area (preferably Cambridge/Somerville) that could give them to homeless or poor women, and is NOT a "pregnancy crisis" center (religious anti-choice center). I'm going to call a few places but if anyone has any specific ideas, let me know. Thanks.

What about Rosie's Place? Not sure the exact address. My husband drops off his donations directly at the Pine St. Inn so we know the clothes are being put to good use and not bundled into containers and sold overseas.

There's a place in Chelmsford called My Father's House (978 251 8191) . It's a home for teenage mom's (or mom's to be) who have been kicked out of their homes. I've got a bag of stuff to donate too - all the free formula, unused bottles... They're at 83 Middlesex St.
