View Full Version : Do they sell replacement straws for the Playtex Straw Cup?

Mine disappeared in the dishwasher - didn't realize it came out! Not my week for cups!

I tried a regular straw, but it was too long (I could always cut it), but also a little loose.

This happened to us yesterday! It is the only sippy Josh will use now. Thankfully BRU carries a two pack of replacement straws for $1.99.

Yeah! Thank you. On my way to BRU later today, as my son doesn't want a baby sippy (he's 3) anymore.

I went to BRU yesterday, and mine didn't have the replacement packs of straws. But guess what? Divine intervention! I ran the dishwasher again last night, and this morning there was the straw! I'll have to safeguard it now :)

They used to sell replacement straws (I know because a friend of mine uses the cup for her son), but they have stopped making them. Playtex got smart - now when you lose the straw, you have to buy a whole new cup!

Check Target, Walmart, and Baby Depot as well. I have seen some left in all of these stores. I guess it would pay to stock up on some!

I just thought I'd post that I received mine yesterday. They came very quickly. The site let you choose the method of delivery, so I was able to shave a couple dollars off the shipping charges. I was very happy with them! And my local Target and TRU did not have any.

Just wanted to note that I bought two packs at Baby Depot for $1.99 each. They had about 20 packs left! This may mean other Baby Depots may still have some as well.

I was in Walmart over the weekend and saw that they carry a Parent's Choice straw type sippy as well. (I didn't care for the shape. It looked like it would be wobbly.) They sell replacement straws for them and on the package it says they fit the Playtex cups as well. It seems they saw a need that wasn't being met by Playtex!
