Does such a thing exist? I swear I saw one being sold on a website a month or two ago, but now that I'm seriously looking for it I can't find it anywhere! I use the Avent bottles, so I wanted to be able to pump straight into them.

Does anyone know if this piece even exists and if so, where can I find it! (Or was I imagining I saw it?)

It exists. I bought mine at the local maternity store. The adapter came as a set for about $10 with (I think) two 4 ounce Avent bottles - but it's been awhile, so don't take me too seriously on the last detail.
I love mine, BTW.

I bought the set at BRU, it's the converter and a bottle for about $10. I think I've seen them at Target as well.

I've seen this at Right Start and BRU, but I ordered it from here:

Yes! Avent makes it - I think it is called the breast pump conversion kit. I bought mine from babycenter...you actually have to buy two of them if you are pumping both breasts at the same time. Really, all it is is a white plastic piece that screws on the bottle with a narrower opening on top that fits the Medela pump piece. Avent packages it with bottles and stuff, though, as they do everything else! :)

DS would only take avent nipples. but i found this adaptor / conversion kit that would make my medela pump in style PIS work with avent products:

i didn't want to use the avent bottles because of the BPA issue, so i'm using their via "disposable" containers instead:

it's been GREAT. use the one piece adaptor, pump right into the via containers, put the lid on and bring to daycare. the she just uses the nipple with another adaptor (comes with the via kit) and there's his bottle!

only thing i don't like is the VIA containers can leak if you're not careful about putting the lid on just right.
