DD is 14 months and still nursing strong. Is it okay to offer cow's milk while nursing? I'm afriad that could be too much milk maybe? I just want to slowly get her used to it. Anyone out there nursing and also offering cow's milk?

Thanks!

My oldest two were drinking milk from sippy cups at that age and usually nursing maybe 3x a day max - mainly for comfort vs. nutrition at this point.

Colin nurses and drinks lactose free milk (he had problems with straight cow's milk). He nurses 3x a day and drinks milk in sippys with his meals.

Kaitlin still nurses and drinks whole milk too. I thought it would be good to have her like milk before we wean (which could be awhile still).

Thanks for the responses - that's what I was thinking, getting her used to it so that when she decides to wean the transition will be easy. We gave her some whole milk in a sippy with lunch today, and she wasn't too thrilled with it. I suppose it will take some getting used to.
