Do I need to steam peaches, pears, and apples before pureeing? Or can I throw them into the blender raw?

TIA!

Steam them first! Fruits/veggies must be cooked for a small baby unless it is a banana or an avocado. Just put it in a small pot with a little water and cover with a lid.

if they are raw, if there is a reaction, you won't know if it is allergy to the food or inability to digest the raw fruit.
i'd steam them for now.

FWIW Jennifer,
I don't steam peaches or pears - just let them get nice and ripe first. You can put them in a brown paper bag overnight to ripen them. I cook my apples with a little bit a water first and then puree them.
