Japanese Weekend fit

My friend who lives in England is looking to order the Japanese Weekend Mama Coat - does anyone have any idea whether this coat (or their coats in general) runs true to size?

I don't have the coat, but have generally found that Japanese Weekend runs large. If you look at their size chart, a small is a pre-pregnancy 6-8, that would be a medium with a lot of other brands.
