I think I need a body pillow. My belly is growing and I can't get comfortable at night. The problem is that there are TOO many options! Any recommendations?

I'd recommend a pillow along the same lines as the "maternity pillow" from the company store. I have a snoogle and I hate it! I don't even use it. The quality IMO is very poor- the seams are very tight around the curves and I ripped mine open with no effort in the middle of the night a few months ago! And, Leachco won't do anything about it to repair/replace it because I don't have a reciept (it was a gift). Next time around I will definitely get a pillow like the maternity pillow- but $74 is outrageous. You can get the pillow at JC Penney for like $40:

I recommend the maternity pillow too--I bought one at Overstock.com for a good price.

It does depend how you sleep though. Some people swear by body pillows or the Snoogle or the Big V. Those didn't work for me.

If you are tall and/or move around a lot, I would go with something like the maternity pillow. If it's just all one pillow and you're tall, it may not fall in the right place. (And I like my own pillow for my head and I believe the Snoogle or the Big V or pillow like that are supposed to be used for your head too...)

If you switch sides a lot, you'd have to switch the body pillows all the time and/or get two (which are pretty big for fitting in the bed!). I move ALL the time and I get up every couple of hours to go to the bathroom anyway. I use the maternity pillow for lying on (and I was a huge stomach sleeper beforehand, once I had the maternity pillow it was easy to sleep on my side) and then another regular pillow between my knees that I just switch sides on when I switch sides.

Good luck. Hope some of that helped.

I just got a basic $10 pillow from Bed, Bath, & Beyond, and it worked just fine. Totally comfortable, really helpful. There's no reason to spend a fortune on this one. The simple ones work just fine.

At about 5 1/2 months, I bought a $10 body pillow from Bed, Bath and Beyond which helped a lot. By 6 1/2 months, my lower back began to ache, so I bought a $10 wedge from Babies R Us. I am most comfortable at night now when I put the wedge under my belly (I'm laying on my side) and a regular pillow between my knees.
