I know this isn't exactly fitting the topic of the forun...but I didn't know where to ask.

Has anyone ever rented a fetal doppler?

If so...any recommendations on where to rent them from?

I've rented from babybeat.com twice.

I prefer them because they have the option for a digital display so I don't have to count and multiply to get the heartrate.

I ordered one through babybeat as well. They work much better than the ones you can get at babys r us.

Baby Beat here as well, with last pg'cy and this one.

I try to use it sparingly but I am the sort of person that will worry endlessly unless I can have some (instant) reassurance.

Exactly, me too. I try to use it only once a week. Between my regular OB and my high risk OB I see the doctor on average every other week, but its nice for those weeks between appointments. ;) Someone on another board I visit described it as "limiting the scope of my anxiety" and I wholeheartedly agree with that.

Got one from Heartones.com. great price and worked just fine. Easy to return too. I know because I returned it today! Didn't use it as much as I though I would.
