I went to a wedding a few weeks before I had DD, and one a few weeks after. I wore the same outfit to both. I wore a black skirt, knee length, made our of a stretchy polyester-type fabric (but it wasn't tight, it was A-line). On top, I wore a black camisole, and a blue beaded cardigan sweater. I just left the buttons undone when I was pregnant. You could do a similar look with the black pants, and get some fabulous shoes. I was comfy in this postpartum as well, because I didn't need to suck it all in - the sweater hid it all. (The sweater I got at Sigrid Olsen on sale).

HTH a little. Have fun!

These days there are some really pretty nursing shirts. I wore this one to a fancy bday party when Ruby was about 3 months old. It doesn't look great in the picture but it was really flattering when on. You could pair it with a pretty cardi and some killer heels and be set. http://www.milkface.com/detail.aspx?ID=93

I also tried on and liked:

If you're not bringing the baby with you, then there are lots of cute options at Banana Republic (my favorite store!). Luckily the flowy style is in right now. Yay!!

What about a wrap dress? They hide some imperfections and look really good. :)

For a top I would tend to go sleeveless for a wedding. Buy a wrap, shawl or something else in case you need warmth.

Here's one top I found. I also checked ATL, Banana, and some of Nordstrom. This is the only one that really jumped out at me.

I like the idea of a sleeveless top with a wrap also. I saw a cute one made by Chaus with a textural/lacy overlay at a department store yesterday. Definitely do the cool jewelry, makeup, shoes, bag, etc.

Or you could try a short sleeve shirt with puff sleeves?

I'd just go to the nearest nice dept store and try on blouses and tops until you find something you like.

Have fun!

You said you have pants, but what about a dress? Something like this is flowy enough through the middle to hide baby weight, and you could slip the top off to pump if you need to. You could always cover up a little with a wrap, too.
