I bought some pants that I love from Lands End. They are very comfortable knit pants but they are red.

These are the pants but in pink. I bought them for $7.99 so I got 4 pairs.

My big question is: What goes with red? All of my sweaters (navy, pale blue, pink) do not go with them. I am thinking maybe grey or black would go better. What do you think? I need to pair it with a sweater or cardigen as it is still cold here and usualy its cold most of the year.

Thanks,

Jessica.

definitely white would look great. black is good, too, but i think white is even better (and you can bleach out the mommy stains.) i think navy would actually work fine. maybe even royal blue. i wear my dark red cords with light blue, too.

I usually tone down my red with gray or khaki/tan. Also if you could get a shirt with a pattern or stripe with just a little red that would coordinate well and pull another color in for a sweater. I think a white tee or striped tee under a navy sweater would be very in style with all the nautical stuff for spring. Just keep your shoes neutral-tan or brown maybe.

I had some red knit capri's that I wore with a white shirt with a red/navy nautical flag of some kind. It was really cute.

I happen to love the look of Navy and Red together, as well as Black or White. Khaki, too. The pants are cute! I might have to order a pair.
