I like the ones you picked- just not the white. I think it is too bright new and will look dingy too soon. JMO. :)

I wouldn't buy white (or any light color). My son loves to step on my shoes
like a mini-ladder. That way he can see the stuff on the kitchen counters.

Has anyone else noticed how the brands are coming 'round again? Asics, Pony, Puma (of course), Kangaroo, etc?? These were all the rage in the early '80's! Now they're stylish LOL...and it doesn't stop me from wanting them :)

I always wanted a pair of Kangaroos back in the day but I somehow ended up
with a pair of green Zips with a yellow "Z".

So, last Christmas, my husband got me a totally cool pair of Kangaroos. They
are very cute but not so comfortable. The sole is incredibly stiff and not very
bendy.

OMG, the memories...

I had several pairs of Tretorns in high school. We all took the shoelaces out
of the shoes and wore them without socks. Boy, those sneakers stunk so bad!

I took off my Tretorns in the Astro-van on our family trip to Florida. My Dad yelled
back from the driver's seat, "What the hell is that smell?"
Lo and behold, it was my feet!

Morale of this story: Wear socks with your sneakers!

Hi Corie! You should check out City Sports on Thayer Street in Providence. They have a great selection of cool sneaks. And the best part is, they have a discount shelf where if you buy one pair full price you choose a pair off the shelf for $20 or $30. DH got a nice pair of New Balance that way :)

LOL! I'm so glad I wasn't the only one! A friend of mine's mother would only let me visit if I took my shoes off on the porch and washed my feet before coming inside. :P
