My Mary Jane crocs

I tried both size 8 and size 9 in the Mary Jane crocs and in both, I feel like my big toe is smashing against the front. Has anyone else experienced this? Would I do better with another style?

I personally think that the Mary Janes style runs larger than the Beach or the Cayman, because the back ankle strap is so loose..at least it is on my pair that I just bought (in bright fushia pink--which is so FUN!). I have 3 pair of Crocs all in the same size, but the Mary Janes fit larger than the other two pairs, and thus my toe doesn't bump the front (but it does in the others.) However, I tried a larger size of Beach and Cayman and I was swimming in them! Aaah well. I just flipped the backs up and wear them like slides, and they're fine.
