I am embarassed to admit that I still wearing my Old Navy Maternity underwear --my husband calls them -- GMUs -- Grandma Underwear. My daughter is a year old. They are comfortable and unfortunately they fit. I have been putting off buying a new panty waredrobe because I haven't found much I like and that fit well and don't cost a small fortune. I have bought a pair here and there to test them out and always go back to the Old Navy girls. So tell me where on earth are you buying all those panties??? I want something comfortable--but not a granny panty. I prefer a natural fabric --- since I live in Texas where it is HOT. I have some size 10-12 hips and I don't feel like talking out a second mortage to buy a supply.... So give me the scoop.

TIA

I'm pretty much the same size and I've worn these for as long as I can remember. You can find sales for 5 for $25 all the time. I love them!

They even fit when I'm pregnant because they sit right below the baby belly. Just had to get granny panties for the first few weeks post partum because they hit right at the c-section scar!

I wear the VS cotton panties too but definitely not bikini. I wear the high leg brief. I found the solid colors to fit better than the prints for some reason. I have size 12-14 hips and tush.

If you're a fan of ON Mat panties, try their regular panties! They have 3 packs for $10, sometimes the black/grey/white packs on sale for $5. I love 'em, and the price is certianly right!

I've always had the VS Signature Cotton string bikini underwear.... wore them through my pregnancies as well! Looks like they have changed them some.... hope they still fit the same. I'm in need for some new underwear myself!

I live in So Cal so I only wear cotton underwear..... too hot and sticky in the summertime for anything else!

Hey, I don't know if your local Victoria's Secret is having the same sale ours is, but I just walked in there yesterday and saw all sorts of VS signature cotton panties on sale for $3.99 each in fun patterns...I love my undies to look cute. Personally, I usually wait until they go on final sale for either $2.99/ea or even $1.97ea, but the pickings are usually slim by then. My favorite cut is the regular bikini....and let me make you laugh...b/c the elastic band holds in my tummy bulge(from 3 pregnancies) just in the right spot. I have found the high leg cut to be too high up my back for most pants/jeans...and I certainly do not wear ultra low rise cuts of pants. I also like the PINK line of cotton panties w/ a touch of lycra for comfy stretch. I get the classic and string bikinis which are super comfy. I'm also a 10/12 and can do both mediums and larges depending on the cut...medium in VS Signature, larges in PINK.

They *did* change them and I now hate them! The "string" part is now a really thin piece of elastic, instead of a reasonably wide piece. The thin elastic digs into my hips in an unpleasant way. I am still hanging onto my 10 pairs of the old style (worn through 2 pregnancies, and in between!), but I'm gonna have to find myself a new source really soon.
