I am ISO a maternity swimsuit, preferably a tankini style, with either swim shorts or a swim skirt that provides a lot of coverage in the rear. I feel like I have a lot of cellulite after DD #1 and with DD #2 on the way, I really want/need some coverage back there. I have tried Gap, Old Navy and JCP but no luck. Any suggestions would be a huge help. Thanks!

I just bought a tankini from Target - Liz Lange. It came with regular bottoms, and I prefer a skirt, so I went to the swimsuit section (non-maternity) and purchased a brown skirt in size L. The Maternity suit is brown and it matches fine. I wear it below my enormous belly.
You could do the same with any maternity tankini in a basic color - go to Target's swim section and get a black or matching skirt. It makes your swimsuit more expensive, of course, but with a September baby, in Texas, I will spare no expense to be able to go to the swimming pool. It is an absolute necessity!

I so hear you about the cellulite and rear coverage. I recently got this and am very happy with it (and they match perfectly!) The suit wasn't inexpensive, but was worth it because it was the only suit I found that actually made me feel good about myself (cellulite and all)!

I don't like my thighs in bikinis any more, so I like to wear board shorts. I found a cute tankini swim suit at Macy's. It is black and white and I put it with some LLBean board shorts. The board shorts are not maternity, but someone on this site recommended them to me. I got a size or 2 bigger than I usually wear and they fit great - right below my belly. Nothing is hanging out, my belly is covered and my legs are covered too. I am due 8/8/07, so I was surprised the board shorts fit.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I loved the Nordstrom top and gap skirt the PP sent, however, the skirt was only available in size S so I couldn't go that route. I ended up purchasing an inexpensive halter tankini top from JCP maternity and found black maternity board shorts from Japanese Weekend. Hoping this will last me all Summer.

I did mention my search to a friend and she also recommended the board shorts and swim skirts from LL Bean and Lands End. She recommended buying 2 sizes larger than you are. If the stuff I purchased doesn't work out I am going to go this route. Thanks for your suggestions.
