Hello!
Has anyone tried the belly bands? I saw the Ingred and Isabel ones but when I went to ebay, I saw a lot more, many more that were cheaper than the Ingred and Isabel (bella band). Has anyone tried them? I am wondering if they are just as good? They are supposed to let you wear your regular clothes (for a while) and you can just unbutton them.
Anyone know of any deals on these bella bands?
Let me know if you have tried these!
Thanks,
Shannon

There was a discussion on these maybe 2-3 months ago and the majority of moms give them a thumbs down.

But, looking back in the archives there are more positive comments.

I didn't wind up buying one with this pg b/c of some of the negative comments. I could see that it would be annoying if if kept rolling down.

Happy shopping!!

I skipped it too because of the less than stellar reviews from my prior post.

I didn't even know these existed when I was pregnant. I used plain old extra long tube tops, the cheap tight spandexy ones that you find in the teeny-bopper section of stores like Forever 21. But I wasn't using them to hold my pants up, I wore them to cover that gap between my shirt and low rise pants.

I couldn't stand the pressure on my bladder that mat. pants caused so I just wore the super low rise regular pants (again from the teeny-bopper stores). I'm pretty sure nobody wanted to see a pregnant lady flashing crack so i used the tube tops to spare them the visual.

I've only used the Bella Band (no other type) and have found them wonderful! They are perfect to cover that gap between your shirt and pants/skirt/shorts that sometimes happens. I would spend the extra cash and go for the Bella!

Well, I hated it in the first trimester, I was hot, they did nothing - but I guess I really didn't need it yet. I took it out again yesterday, at 19 weeks, and I used it. It was a bit annoying, but it solved my problem. I was wearing my regular "fat" pants that fit a week or so ago no problem, and I couldn't button them. I put on the band, and it did hold them up, but I had to readjust it pretty often, but I wasn't flashing my open zipper! I think they are better in fall/winter/spring and not in summer, and I think they are just the same as a spandex tank top or anything else, no better, probably no worse.
