Yes, it can be pricey, but you can find coupons for online shopping all the time. Also, if you sign up for the passport program (for free) you'll get coupons in the mail for B&M shopping. A lot of their pants are spandex-rich, meaning they'll fit even AFTER you've shrunk a little. And if you get fluffy again. :)
