Shorts for me ??!???

I am in desperate need of shorts. None of my pre-maternity ones fit anymore. I realize that I have been wearing capris (more like cropped pants) for more than three summers now.

What brand is good for my post-paby body? I am usually a size 6/8/10 depending on the brand. Although I have returned to my pre-baby weight, I don't have the same fit.

I need a lower rise short (nothing high waisted), and I am not looking for short/shorts.

Any suggestions? It's going to be close to 100 degrees here today!!!

I'm a 10/12 and I just found some cute ones made by levi's at Kohl's. They are like bermuda shorts and are above knee. I really like them! They were on sale for $16 and I got blue and green. They had a large selection! JC Penney has some cute oens too, I got some cute denim ones there a few weeks ago for around $20.
