I am due in two weeks and i am looking for nursing bra recommendations.

I need a bra that offers maximum support for large breasts but that comes in small band sizes. My pre-maternity size was 32G, I am currently wearing a 36H.

TIA

I can't remember the name of the bra I used, so I am not much help, but I recommend calling a local specialty store. I was a 34 F pre-preg. After giving birth I called my local store and they pulled a nursing bra aside for my husband to pick up (guesstimating size). When I was able to go in, I had a fitting. I ended up having to get the band altered, but it was cheap and easy (and they did it at the store).

Sorry I can't remember any brand names!

Hi there, I don't post much, but just wanted to share that when I gave birth to my twins, I was a 44F. I remember that someone on these boards recommended the website Breakout Bras. They sell the Bravado and Medela Lines. I had good luck with both. Good luck with everything!

i went to a specialty store at a local hospital where i was fitted by a lactation consultant. i picked up two bravado bras and i am loving them.

in case this helps anyone else with H cup breasts in search of nursing bras; i use "The Original Nursing Bra - Double Plus" as a sleep bra and "The Supreme Nursing Bra" for day wear.

I'm a 36H nursing and I had a heck of time finding a nursing bra that fit, was supportive, didn't make my breast look funny, and actually allowed me to nurse. I tried about 10 different bras in various sizes. (I tried the Anita 5062 and liked it OK, but in that bra I really needed a 36I which they don't make.) I was about at the end of my rope and was almost ready to give up when I found the Goddess comfort zone softcup (#2050). I love this bra and the website I bought it from is great. Here is the link:

Hope this helps~

I find that for bigger sizes, an underwire has made a world of difference. I'm a 34F right now and I love the Anita 5035. I have one in black and white and I don't look that large at all! It's very comfy and supportive. The underwires are also pretty wide-set to help prevent plugged ducts- I have never had any problem with them. I also have a Medela full support underwire, but I don't love the open/close as much on it (much harder than the Anitas, not one handed at all) and also the fabric is more cotton-y so that clothing doesn't glide over as easily. And it isn't seamless in the larger sizes. So, I prefer the Anita.

I LOVE my Medela underwire. I got them at breakoutbras.com. I don't get the uniboob look. My hubby actually complimented me on it. I have the Bravado in M++ but it is a little tight and the uniboob look is just not flattering. I am a 36G. The support is great, and it it easy to hook/unhook.
