LL Bean clogs???? compared to Dansko??? sizing!

Are LL bean clogs comfy or should I just spring for Dansko???? I wear a size 9...is that 39 in Dansko???

I tried both before my trip to italy two years ago. I ended up with the LL Bean clogs - for me they were more comfy and I must say that the held up really well as my only shoes for two weeks in italy walking a lot and I have worn them as my primary fall/winter shoes for the last two years and only this year have I even considered replacing them - and that is only because I am ready for something new, not because they are showing any wear

I found that LLBean clogs didn't last as long as Dansko. After 6 months my LLBean ones were done...not comfortable, really worn heel. I've been wearing my Danskos for a year and they look and feel brand new. I'm a size 9 and have both 40s and 41s in Danskos (same style; different color).
