My ODD is going as a pirate. Younger DD will be a mermaid. Now I need an idea for myself. Any suggestions? I'd like to make it myself so I need time that's why I'm asking so early.

I think going as a pirate wench would be very doable! Especially since those hippy skirts were in a couple of seasons ago - there should be plenty at the thrift. Throw on a peasant shirt, a thick belt, a scarf around your head and HUGE earrings and you're good to go!
