I'm looking for an everyday casual necklace that will go with anything from jeans and t-shirts to casual skirts and blouses. Can anyone suggest a style you like? What length do you think works best? I'm thinking of something in silver or white gold less than $200. Any pics or links you could post would be appreciated. TIA!

I recently was in VT and purchased a few pieces from this pewter designer...

I like that I was able to buy one 18 inch snake chain and a few charms.

I have a "mother's necklace" very similar to this one below, with two charms on it (one for each child). It goes with everything I wear. I didn't get their birthstones however; each charm has a small pearl above it, so it looks feminine on me.

This is one of the necklaces I was thinking of getting! I was wondering how it looked IRL, so thanks for sharing! I wasn't sure if I wanted the all silver or the one with the gold & silver mixed. Which length do you have? I think I'm going to ask for one for my birthday.

Tiffany sells casual, elegant initial necklaces that are great for everyday wear.

I have one similar to the one the PP gave you a link to. The silver discs are just plain, and each kids name is stamped on it ( i have 3 charms, each has a kids name). The chain is plain, but sturdy and sparkly too!

Here is the link:

The link is for 3 charms, price is $73 and free shipping (i think). I think less charms would be cheaper.

I wear it all the time, sleep in it and all. It looks great when I go out w/out the kids too!
