Hi :) I'm going to my niece's wedding next weekend, and need a dress. Any recommendations on stores/sites? I want to look beautiful, and show off my belly (in a modest way). I'm not aware of any rental places where I live, and I don't want to spend a fortune on a dress that I may realistically only wear once. Thanks!

I wore this dress...

to a wedding less than two weeks before delivering my younger son. I had a few other dresses during my pregnancy, but in the end, this was the only thing that fit. It's pretty basic, but you can always dress it up with accessories, and the price is certainly right.

Old Navy does have several other dresses that might work...all under $40. I can understand not wanting to make a huge investment this late in the game.

I second that ON dress. I don't have it but I always go back to it when I am looking around for moms one here. I just think it's great that you can really accessorise it with cute shoes and jewelry.

There are some cute (but more expensive) dresses over at Bellydance.com.

This comes in black and red for $105

$93, black all sizes, teal just size 2-4

There are a bunch there in the $100-200 range that you might want to check out. Look in the other dress categories too.

For $14.99 I would get the Old Navy dress. They also have a few other cute options now on sale. If that doesn't work I would try a maternity consignment shop. I was a bridesmaid when I was 36 weeks and then sold the dress at a consignment shop.

I definitely wouldn't spend a lot on a dress. Have some fun with accessories!

HI! Thank you so much for the info! I went with a similar Old Navy dress, just because they didn't have my size, and I couldn't take a chance on needing to return it if the size didn't work out since the wedding was this past weekend! It worked out GREAT! Very easy to dress up or down, and very comfortable :) Here's the one I went with, but if they'd had my size, I would have gone with the $14.99 - it all worked out in the end!

Thanks again!
