On a banner ad I saw Shearling flip flops by LL Bean. The 2 just don't go hand and hand to me. They are under the "slippers" section. Yes, they could be warm but if you need shearling for warmth wouldn't you want socks too? Wouldn't your feet get cold?

We got the catalog with these yesterday and they had dh very perplexed. Seriously. We had a several minute long conversation about it with his only comment that it just doesn't make sense. He finally decided that maybe the slides made some sense, but definitely not the flip flops. The only thing I can think of is that maybe some people's feet get too hot with the whole slipper?
