Chicco does have the passive restraint hub available. If the high chair you purchase has no hub, just phone us toll free at 877 424 4226 and the part will be sent out to you at no charge.

I wish I had known that! This is great information. I bought a Chicco Mamma from the internet and it did not have the post. I found that I really wanted one with a post and saw it at BRU. I ended up returning the first one and buying the one at BRU. If I had only known that I could get the part for free! Oh well -- I hope (and I am sure) that other people will gain from your inquiry!

Is this post on the tray or part of the chair? Which is preferred?
