Do I really need a bottle warmer? I plan to breastfeed and supplement w/formula. Thanks (again),~ECH

I never used one.

I breastfed exclusively for the first 4 or 5 months. I froze breastmilk, and I thawed it in a cup of warm to hot water (according to Medela's instructions). This worked fine and was very convenient to do at restaurants. (I did have to plan a little, though. Thawing frozen breastmilk isn't a quick process in any case!)

If the water is at room temp for the formula, it was warm enough. If you are using faucet water, you can control the temp. And if you are using bottled water or water that you boiled, you can just leave it on the counter at room temp. I didn't ever find that I needed a bottle warmer.
