Avent Sippers

I'm finding that the Avent Sippers are hard to suck. It says it is for babies 3+ months. But it is more difficult that a bottle. Anyone having the same problems? Any sugguestions? TIA.

We had the same problem. We also thought that our baby was less likely to "sip" because the cup looked just like his bottle. We tried another brand-Gerber.

I introduced the 3 mo+ sippy spout to our 6 month old recently, she gets through about 1/2 of whatever is in the cup then gets mad. It is a different sensation and I think it just takes a while. We try to give her formula or a little juice or water from it at least once a day. I keep a nipple top ready to pop on if she gets ticked off too bad. I also have a Magic cup that I let her play with-thought it might get her used to it. Good luck!
