Car seat covers help?

I have seen the Hanna Anderson and the Lands end car seat covers in fleece has anyone tried one that they liked? I heard that the ones that go under and over the baby are not safe and babies overheat? THanks Nancy

I'm not due until December so I have no personal experience with this, but I did just take a childbirth class and the nurse recommended using the kind that goes over the baby and car seat. She said if the baby has too much padding/clothing on, the car seat straps will not be very effective in a crash, so it's best to dress the baby in normal clothes, strap him/her in, then put the cover on over all that.
