Anyone else have trouble with Omron's 3 Way Thermometer?

I bought it because it's supposed to be as fast as an ear thermometer with the accuracy of a traditional thermometer but I can never get a consistent temperature out of it. I've gone back to using a regular digital thermometer, but wondered if anyone else out there had better luck with the Omron than I did?

I bought Omron's 3-way a couple of weeks ago for the same reason you did. I've only used it a few times, but so far, I haven't had any trouble with it. I love it. The only problem I'm having is finding probe covers for it.

I'm glad it's working for you! When I bought mine in May, the only place I could find the probe covers was Burlington Coat Factory. I've looked in other stores and haven't found them anywhere else.
