There are a number of earlier threads on bathtubs so you may want to do a search. Many people around here like the EuroBath by Primo (available at BRU and other stores). We have the EuroBath and my 6 month old loves it. It is designed to help hold up a smaller baby as well as accomodate a sitting one. The only con is that it's a pretty big tub so if space is an issue, it may not be the right tub for you. You can learn more about it here: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000056OV0/qid%3D1047048383/sr%3D11-1/ref%3Dsr%5F11%5F1/103-4445879-6678209

A couple of people have also recommended an inflatable tub you can put in the big tub I am going to try one I do not have room for the Euro tub :( . The other plus with inflatabe tub is if they fall back it is soft on their head. I am still taking a bath with Andrew unless DH is home to help me hold him he is sitting up on his own, but they get so slippery when they are wet.

I have an inflatable tub and it has worked wonderfully with Colin since he was about 5 months old. Before he could sit up, he could just rest his head on the edge of the tub and lay in a reclined position. Now that he's sitting, and could probably go in the "big boy tub", we still prefer to use the inflatable one. I'll be sad when he outgrows it, but I don't think it will be for a while yet. (He's probably about 17 pounds and 27 inches too.)
