fisher Step + Play Piano - is it safe?

I just saw this activity center by fisher price

- it's the one with the removable seat and the piano keys for a 'floor'. Has anyone used it? I've heard mixed reviews (mostly negative) about activity centers and how they can affect leg development, etc. but seeing as this one's seat can be removed, it might be fun and safe... It looks like it might last a few years too since the seat comes out.

any thoughts on it?

I think all these items are OK in moderation. The key is to not leave your baby in them for long periods of time. I know that most people on this board would never do this, but there really are people who put their babies in exersaucer type things and leave them there in front of the TV all day long.

Most recommendations I have read suggest no longer then 20 minutes at a time a few times a day.

I saw it at BRU and thought it looked cheap. The music was also *really* annoying! I had thought about getting it until I saw it in person.
