Crib mirrors: are they safe, do babies like?

I was thinking of getting a crib mirror for baby #2. Didn't have one for DD. Are they safe? Do babies like them? Any suggestions for one?

We have the Lamaze one which can be strapped onto the crib or onto its triangular foam pillow. James looked at it a few times when it was in his crib, though he was more interested in the crib activity panels we had tied on there (also Lamaze, I think). I think he just caught sight of them more due to their placement. He does really like the mirror now that it is on the pillow, though. We put it on the floor on a blanket for tummy time, and he really likes looking at it.
