I am so disgusted with the process of finding a baby tub! For my first two kids we used a "Fold-up Tub" from Safety 1st. I hated it but didn't know what else to get. So this time I got serious about finding something new. I really love the look of the Eurotub but I want one that works with the kitchen sink. I don't want to have to put the baby in the big tub for a bath until she's old enough to sit up on her own with no probs (we bathed the boys in the kitchen sink after they outgrew the babytub until they were about 1 y.o.). So, I thought the new Eurobath Infant Seat would be good for us. I ordered one from Babystyle and it arrived today. Well, drat, wouldn't you know it but it doesn't fit in our kitchen sink!!! ACK! I think it would be fine except that we have an extra deep sink (which is really great for big pots & pans but apparently not for baby baths). It seems like a really good tub and I'd love it if it would work but it can't be suctioned to the sink bottom because the back hits the side of the sink.

So....my question is for those of you using something other than the Eurotub, what do you use and how do you like it? Also, for everyone, what tubs have you hated? I definitely want to avoid those! TIA for any help you can give!

Here's a link to my pick:

My girlfriend suggested it and I have had zero complaints. I especially like the "comfort sling" which can be easily removed to hang dry or be washed. Now that my son is 6 months old he is sitting up on his own, but I still use the tub part (without the sling). I'm just not ready to venture into the big tup yet...

Nevertheless, it's my pick. I cannot remember where I purchased it, but I am pretty sure it was Babies R Us. Either them, or Buy, Buy Baby.

As far as fitting in the sink goes, that's a tough one. It's definitely too long to fit in MY sink, but I could certainly put it in and sort of "cradle" the sink if I wanted. I have been batheing him in the tub (in the Evenflo tub); to get him used to being in the actual bathtub.

I had a Safety 1st tub and I loved it. I had a slightly older model of this one: http://www.safety1st.com/bathtubs/41646.html (NOT the fold up one, the one at the top). It fit great in my sink which is deeper than most. I think I paid around $10 at BRU and I really liked it. It was a sad day for me when she outgrew it (around 6 months).

We have the first years sure comfort deluxe newborn to toddler tub. It fits in our sink. It says it fits in single and double sinks. We love it. The sling was very useful in the beginning for sponge baths and for the earlier baths. My dd is seven months old and we're still using it. I also want to wait as long as possible to go to the bathtub, especially since we have sliding doors in our bathtub. Here's the link to view it. We bought ours at buy buy baby but it says they sell it at babies r us also. http://www.thefirstyears.com/products/product.asp?pValue=3155

munchkin puts out a great tub it's in the shape of a duck, for ages 6-24 months inflates to 31" x 19", has a safety disc that turns white when waters is too hot, the ducks beak quacks when you squeeze it and it was rated by DR. Toy 2002 Best Vacation Children's product.
their web site is www.munchkininc.com. they have a link that tells you where you can buy them. i have seen them in wal-mart for around $9. My son 7 1/2 month old loves his.:P
