View Full Version : PNP to fit Kolcraft portable crib mattress?

I have a Kolcraft portable crib mattress. I would like to find a pack-n-play that is the same size -- so that I could use the portacrib mattress instead of the PNP mattress. I have the Kolcraft John Lennon PNP and it's wider, so there is a space between the mattress & the side of the PNP. My mom has offered to buy a portacrib or a PNP for her house -- I like the stability of the portacrib but I think my DD would get stuck, because she moves & kicks & rolls & gets her legs stuck in the fullsize crib. So I thought maybe combining a PNP with a portacrib mattress might solve both "wishes," to have a comfortable mattress (more comfy than the PNP mattress) and not have the crib slats.

So ... all that to ask ... :-) Has anyone combined a mattress & PNP this way, and if so, which PNPs fit?

I do hope to go to Babies R Us and try some out -- just wondered if anyone had already done this & had advice.
