computer keyboard toy?

Hello! My little guy (almost 1 year) loves to play on the keyboard when I type but won't settle for one that isnt' attached to a monitor. I saw a product in One step Ahead a while back that covers the regular keyboard and helps little ones play/learn. I think Fisher Price makes one too. Has anyone used one of these? Are they age appropriate for my son? TIA!
