We want to get a co-sleeper that can be taken on overnight trips, and be used as a play pen. does one exist? If yes, what is a good brand? It would be nice to get one with wheels and a night light. I do not care about toy bars, music, or vibrators.

Thanks so much

The Arms Reach co-sleeper converts into a play pen. We LOVED it! We used it until DS was 9 months old (it actually goes up to 30lbs., but we transitioned him to a crib before then.) You can get the best deal on Ebay (around $125 brand new, less when used). It doesn't have wheels, lights, or toys, but then since you're using it for sleeping, you really don't need all that stuff anyways. I would recommend this cosleeper in a second! You can also buy pretty floor length covers to go on them that look nicer with your bedding than the original plaid print. The second link shows a cover in an ugly color, but I got mine in a white quilted fabric that was beautiful.
