I know what you mean. Justin loves household stuff too. However, I can't seem to get him to sit and bang his pan with a wooden spoon. Emptying cabinets is much more fun. :) He occupied himself for a long time with an empty tissue box, though. He kept putting toys inside and then taking them out.

Josh is in that stage where he doesn't want toys, only "big people stuff" like pots and pans with wooden spoons, TV remotes, the cordless phone, my keys, the diaper bag and all it's contents, etc. Here's a photo to demonstrate just how much he loves his pot and spoon!
