I've been thinking about getting Ethan an Exersaucer, but I don't know if it's worth it. I checked out one type and the maximum height is only 30 inches. Developmentally, I think he'd love one of these. He's 3.5 months and loves standing with support from only a finger or two of ours. But, he's already over 27 inches. (Born at 23 in, his daddy is very tall). Do you know of any with high height limits? Or of any other standing toys with high height limits?

I had the same problem: my son was 28 inches at 4 months. Unfortunately I do not have a solution (we ended up not buying an exersaucer), but I wanted to share my thoughts:

1. Although he is tall, your son may not reach 30 inches for a while (the charts that I've seen say that a 9-month old in the 95th percentile should be 30 inches). At his 6 months checkup, my DS was only 28.5 inches. But, of course, every baby is different and yours may grow up faster.

2. One exersaucer that seems to be very versatile and can be used for a longer time is the Fisher Price Step and Play Piano:

However, there may be some safety issues associated with it (I think somebody had a post recently about it).
