Baby Einstein Traveling Flash Cards

Does anyone have the Baby Einstein Traveling Flash Cards? We just received them as a gift and they look like a great concept (especially for our upcoming vacation), but the cards look so flimsy, like they should be laminated but they aren't. What is the durability of this toy like? Is it going to get trashed with minimal use. And, even if the durability sucks, does your baby enjoy this toy?

I have some cards that are very similar to this that I got at Target. I forget who they are made by, but its one of the big companies, like Kids II or The First Years. Sarah really likes them. They are a "restaurant" toy for us. The ones I have are not laminated but are "plastic coated" and they have held up OK. I think they were around $4?
